Theres no shortage of work to do at this site, and thanks to our exceptionally high standards we are called back every year to do it!
With a regular trimming regime in place, these hedges are always a joy to work on, with the finishing result looking better every year as the foliage becomes more dense with maturity. There are a number of different variety of hedges on the school grounds which makes for a more interesting few days work. Different heights and widths mean we use a number of different tools to access the hedges, from ladders to mobile platforms, and of course extendable hedge trimmers come in handy as always.
In recent years, with the advent of battery technology, we have been experimenting with some of the different battery-powered hedge trimmers that are now available. As well as cutting down on our carbon footprint we have found they offer a whole load of additional benefits, such as less noise pollution, no nasty petrol fumes being inhaled by the staff, and the vibration on the machines has been almost eliminated.
